Saddle Stitch Books
Saddle stitching is the most
economical binding method. It involves putting stitches through the middle
of the piece. An example of this would be "Newsweek" or "Time" magazine.
The edge of the book which
has the stitches is always specified as the second dimension. For example,
8 ½" x 11" is stitched on the 11" side. It opens up to a size of
17" x 11", but is specified by the closed size.
Books can be produced ranging
in size from a minimum of 3" x 6" to a maximum of 12" x 18". The maximum
number of pages depends on the thickness of the paper. Contact
