The operator's hands are safely up on the activation switches, and the big 52" knife slices through a stack of paper in a powerful and awesome stroke.  One of these machines, we have two, is a "must see" on the plant tour.
 

Put it Together 

On one of our two perfect binding machines, signatures (printed, folded sections of a book) are loaded in the collating section, and gathered before being glued together with the cover.
 
 

    Final Journey

After a dizzying ride up the cooling carousel, bound books make the journey to the trimming section. Next stop, a carton and into our truck for delivery.
