 When
you first open Fetch, you are presented with the "New Connection_" dialog
box. Fill in the fields with the information shown here, using the
password that has been supplied to you by Sinclair Printing Company.
Click "OK" to initiate the connection. |
You should now see two sub directories,
"Get" (Files from SPC), and "Put" (Files going to SPC). Choose a
folder depending on whether or not you want to upload files, or your want
to download files.

To send files to Sinclair
Printing Company, double click on the "Put" folder. The sub directory
title will appear in the box above the list on the left side of the window.
Click on the "Put File" button. You will be prompted to select the
file you wish to send. You will then be asked to provide a name.
This dialog box also gives your a chance to pick a file format from a pop-up
menu. (The BinHex format will produce a compressed file useable on
either Mac or PC Platforms).

"OK" to send the file. |
To get a file from Sinclair
Printing Company, enter the "Get" sub directory. Select the file
name, and press the "Get File" button. You will be prompted to select
a location to save these files to. Click "OK". The files will
be saved at your destination. Alternatively, if you are running system
7.5 or later, drag and drop is supported.
